The Tinsmith

Welcome to The Tinsmith, a stunningly unique private event venue located in downtown Madison.

Our one of a kind, award-winning space is an original 1920s Trachte Brothers building. The venue underwent a complete renovation in 2019 to transform it into a modern event space, adding luxury details while maintaining much of its original character. With 23 foot tall ceilings, year-round foliage, skylights, and countless other intentional design details, The Tinsmith makes a statement all on its own.

Thoughtfully and deliberately designed for weddings, The Tinsmith seamlessly transitions from ceremony to cocktail hour, and dinner to dancing for up to 200 guests. Conveniently located walking distance to bars, restaurants, and boutique hotels in downtown Madison, you and your guests will be steps away from everything Madison has to offer.
